HOW TO PLAY WITH A CONTROLLER

AntimicroX is a program that converts controller inputs into keyboard inputs, which will allow you to play Shape Hill with a Controller.  You can install it from this github page:

STEP BY STEP GUIDE FOR GETTING CONTROLLER WORKING

1. Open the folder called "antimicrox-3.3.3-PortableWindows-AMD64" in the extracted zip file.

2. Open the folder called "bin"

3. Run the program called "antimicrox"

4. Download "ProControllerBindings.gamecontroller", or "XboxControllerBindings.gamecontroller", from this itch.io page.

4. Once the program is running, click the button towards the top right area of the application that says "Load"

5. Navigate to where you downloaded the two controller files and choose one of the following two files depending on your controller type;

For Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, select the file "ProControllerBindings.gamecontroller".

For an XBOX controller, select the file "XboxControllerBindings.gamecontroller".

If you want to bind your own inputs for controller, the control scheme for the game is listed below.

MOVEMENT: 

Keyboard: WASD (only a and d)

XBOX and Switch Pro: Joystick/Dpad

JUMPING:

Keyboard: Space

XBOX: A button

Switch Pro: B button

ROTATING:

Keyboard: Left and Right Arrows

XBOX: L1 and R1

Switch Pro: L and R

FLIPPING:

Keyboard: Up Arrow

XBOX: X button

Switch Pro: Y

GRID SNAPPING:

Keyboard: Shift

XBOX: B button

Switch Pro: A button

SLOW DOWN:

Keyboard: Left Ctrl

XBOX: Y button

Switch Pro: X button

SWITCH SHAPE:

Keyboard: 1, 2, and 3 on top number row

XBOX: L2 and R2 to cycle shapes

Switch Pro: ZL and ZR to cycle shapes
